#misfiled These 3 pages (208/209/210) are orders for the 8th Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers

They are in with the orders for the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Regiment. Pages running in sequence.

It's possible the 2nd RIR were supporting the 8th Inniskillings and got a copy of the orders for reference.

You are correct Ral in what you say. The 2nd Btn Royal Irish Regiment are mentioned in para. 5 top of page on this link:

When these pages came up I thought they were misfiled because they were headed orders from the 8th Inniskilling Fusiliers. Have not come across this before when orders come up. Shall I remove the #misfiled comment from these pages and insert a comment saying "That they are copy orders for the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Regiment"?

Pity I did not tag them as such when I came across the same thing later as reported to you!

If you don't mind and it's easy to find those pages again, it would probably help avoid confusion if you could remove the #misfiled hashtag and add in a comment that they are a reference for the 2nd RIR who are in support.

The comments misfiled, on Order pages for the 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Regiment 208,209 and 210 have been altered to read: This is a copy of an order for the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Irish Regiment, in support - Not misfiled.
Pages were easy to find I had a note of the references to these pages.
