Handwriting Help for Faint Diary Pages.

  • marie.eklidvirginmedia.com by marie.eklidvirginmedia.com

http://talk.operationwardiary.org/#/subjects/AWD0001iym I have just started working on the 5th Div. 1 Btn. Norfolk Regiment (1April 1918-30 April 1919). So far the pages have been very, very, faint. The above is one of the pages in particular. I am using Windows 7, using Chrome. If you use CHROME you can apply an Extension to Chrome called 'Sheen'. This has enabled me to read some of the diary page, by applying the visual filter option by adjusting the Sepia control bar - then really Zooming in. Just go to the following site and enable 'Sheen'. chrome://extensions/?id=mopkplcglehjfbedbngcglkmajhflnjk Hope this can help other people. I must mention that a long time ago, I am sure someone mentioned this site on the talk page.

I am on a laptop and am working on a faint page as well, I just move the screen so the writing gets darker, I also compare the hand writing with previous lines. I find that helps as one gets use to the authors style of writing.

It definitely helps when you're familiar with an author's style, doesn't it?
