Maybe a missing page - number 117 in the diary of 9 Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers
-
Page 116 was for dates 2-4th Sept 1916 Link: https://talk.operationwardiary.org/#/subjects/AWD0003etn
Page 118 was for 7-11th September 1916 Link: https://talk.operationwardiary.org/#/subjects/AWD0003ey9
I have been tagging this diary from beginning and no one else seems to have been tagging it yet. All pages have been in sequence.Posted

Marie, do you mean the page numbers jumped from 116 to 118?

Yes, the diary pages jumped from pages 116 to 118 - no page appeared for page 117. Maybe not missing then but only did not appear for tagging.

Yes, it seems that the page is probably not missing, as the dates you've included seem to fit. It seems entirely likely that 5-6th Sept. are on page 117.
Still good to note, though, with Heather's recent discovery that pages another tagger and I did not see had not actually been tagged by five people. I've had this happen, too, where I feel sure that I am the first tagger to be working on a diary--still says 0% on the diary page; no comments or hashtags from another tagger--and it skips a page.

I think it is just that, rather than that the page is missing - it does seem a bit random at times, doesn't it? Anyway, thanks for letting us know.

Can you give us some more details on what's missing?
