What is the difference between wounded admitted and wounded evacuated?

If you're tagging a Field Ambulance diary, then wounded admitted will be people entering their care, while wounded evacuated will be those sent back to a base hospital or similar for treatment.

How do I tag an officer who is evacuated to the UK? Departed sick?

That's what I have always done, as long as I am sure that he's going because he is sick or even wounded. Sometimes I've seen mention of an officer "departing to the UK" with no reason given. In this case you probably shouldn't use the "Departed sick" tag because he might be going to the War Office or a course or some other place.

I agree with Cynthia - if he's being evacuated then the implication is that's he's being sent back for medical reasons, so departed sick is fine.
