Entering Gurkha names

  Generally the Gurkha officers mentioned in the diaries have two names. I assume we enter those as normal. However occasionally an officer will be mentioned by rank and a single name. My impression is that this name is a first name and
  so I have entered it in the first name box and left the second name box blank. Is this correct?
