How to tag date ranges

  • cybelf by cybelf

How do you tag a range of dates during which the same activity is being done? In the date column, there's an entry for the 8th of the month indicating one activity, an entry for the 8th through the 19th of the month indicating a second activity (presumably done on every day from the 8th to the 19th) and then another entry for the 19th indicating a third activity. How to I tag the 8th - 19th entry and how do I tag the activity to reflect the same work was done during that whole period?

From the Field Guide - " If there was little to record or a major incident had taken place over a few days the dates might have been written as a range. In this case place the first tag at the start of the entry and enter the first date then place the second tag at the end of the entry and record the last date in the range.."

So put a tag for 8th at the very start (before the first activity) and one for 19th just before the end (before the activity only done on the 19th). Just put one tag for the activity that was the same between 8-19th
