TIP: Enter initials in the Forename box.

  It would be relatively rare for a forename to be used in a formal document. Initials would be much more common so I suggest the box should read forename or initials or a box added for initials. Some officers in this period would have titles too, Lord, Viscount, Rt Hon and Sir would be relatively common.
