Funny story from the diary of the 2nd Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment – A little bit of light relief!
-
Arrested 2 Frenchmen living in Dead End Lane but were released as innocent.
The 2 Frenchmen had a curious habit of leading their cows about by the tail in open fields, regardless of presence of enemy aircraft.
The APM (Assistant Provost Marshal) saw this as a superstitious practice to induce the cows to give more milk.
