  I am tagging the Diary of the 7th Division 8 Btn Devonshire Regiment and have just tagged order B.M.F. 2. It has been signed by Lt. Col. C. Bonham Carter - G S 7th Division. I think this is the same man who also became a General and was the Governor of Malta. As in the above wikipedia link.

  His brothers included Edgar Bonham Carter and Maurice Bonham Carter, the latter of whom is the grandfather of actress Helena Bonham Carter.

  Whoa! I saw "Bonham-Carter," and thought, "wait a minute, that sounds familiar..."

  And after a little research, it seems like the Bonham-Carter line is a fairly prominent one with many notable branches. I didn't know that. Cool!
