Battalion had no bicycles. Btn could only communicate by Runner, unsatisfactory way of getting suggests motor cycles be allotted to Btn

Author of report suggests that Motor Cycles be allotted to Btns but probably impossible. If HQ had 1 they could have sent forward messages.
