Blueprint for Armageddon

  • DZM by DZM admin

Been thinking about OWD a lot lately while listening to Dan Carlin's series about the war, Blueprint for Armageddon, part of his "Hardcore History" series.

Anyone else listened to it? It's probably a bit general for most of you WWI experts, but I really appreciate learning more about the war that I don't know so much about.

Sounds an interesting series - Also there are so many books about WW1 worth reading that give an insight of what all the troops went through, especially the WW1 diaries of people who served in this war.

Thanks, @DZM - that looks very interesting. I haven't had an opportunity to listen yet, but I'd imagine it's great for getting a sense of the context that sent the authors of our diaries off to war.

It's free, and quite fascinating. I highly recommend it if you want that larger context! And Carlin is an extremely engaging narrator.
