  Seems a very harsh discipline: 5 years penal servitude for sleeping at his post while on guard awarded to Private Tomlin, No. 6762 (RAMC). 14th Aug 1918 – 3rd Cavalry Division: 6 Cavalry Field Ambulance. I think though they were very strict about this.
