  Can anyone tell me what a Jumpline Platoon is? This is mentioned within breakdown of casualties on a recent raid.

  My current Unit's author describes engagements with the enemy in a rather idiosyncratic way; how would you read "German Officer bagged" and "Snipers obtained 3 men"? Does this mean they were killed, wounded or taken prisoner? To date I have made a verbatim note in comments. Thank you Jan

  If you could give us a link to the page, it would help with context, but I think these are probably just various ways of saying people have been killed.

  "Bagged" is a grouse shooting term so yes I'm afraid I agree with Rob that it's a very politically incorrect way (by today's standards!) of saying "killed"
