War Diaries Talk

Dwindling diary list

  • cyngast by cyngast moderator

    Hi, all,

I thought I'd mention that we are aware that the supply of diaries available right now for tagging is shrinking at a rather rapid pace. Rob has been in touch with Zooniverse with a new list to upload.

We'll let you know when we have news.

Thanks for that update re diaries to come through. The ones we have been working on have been a good selection.

I thought so, too. I don't know what Rob has sent to Zooniverse for the next batch, though.

Hopefully another interesting batch - there are a few Indian diaries in there.

I haven't heard anything back from the Zooniverse yet, though. I have a sneaking suspicion people may have gone on their Christmas breaks early.

Ral, I came across your post of 4 year ago re Indian Army Ranks, which may be helpful if Indian diaries come up in the next batch of diaries. The Link you posted as fpllows, includes other peoples comments also.

This list of Indian Army ranks and their British Army equivalents is accessible on the Talk page. It is in the list to the left of the pages with recent comments when you first open Talk.
