Friendly Fire

Apologies if this has been answered already: would casualties sustained during training (e.g. bomb practice) be tagged as friendly fire?

No, I'd class them as accidents.

    Thanks for checking.

Is there a tag for accidents? #accidents. I used #friendlyfire which now seems wrong.

    Maybe we should have one?

The casualties tag covers non-combat deaths but not non-combat injuries. I have always tagged non-combat injuries as wounded. Isn't an accidents hashtag just a bit too general ? Just checking... 😃

I think an #accident tag used in conjunction with the standard casualties tag could be useful. So, if men were listed as wounded or killed in training, you could tag that as non-combat deaths/wounded and then add the hashtag to give some additional context.

On it's own, I agree with probably a little too vague.

    What does everybody think?
