T. Z. D. ?

What does T. Z. D. stand for? "T. Z. D. animals proceed to ESSIG for destruction"

I was wondering about that...I'm not sure if the first letter is a T or not. Perhaps it's an acronym for a veterinary term.

I think it's a 7 not a T. At the end of the war, horses were classified according to what fate was in store for them - I have seen one that gives classifications X, Y, Z and D. Z and D classes were sold to farmers or butchers and destroyed. That's what's happening here I'm afraid.

Thanks, Heather. I guess this is a time for the #horsespurchased tag, then.

I'm going to move this to Handwriting Help.

Look at the "T" in the line above, then look at the "7" in the date column. Looks pretty conclusive to me?

Absolutely! I just wanted to put it somewhere else than the 'Objects' board 😄
