  I have posted this because when tagging the diary of the 5th Brigade RHA, I find the Adjutant’s writing so small, sometimes difficult to read. I have posted information re these place in the comment box of the diary page concerned link:

  Had to do a google search to find the trench map list above.

  The places re Trench Map References in the margin refer to Bas Maisnil, Fromelles, Herlies and Boiz due Biez. Re attack on trenches West of Cordonnerie Farm mentioned on the diary page. The Farm can also have different spelling. If you do a google search for this farm it will come up with an interesting video of the farm above. Link for video is:

  Another good site for trench maps is at McMaster University in Canada: https://library.mcmaster.ca/maps/ww1/ndx5to40.htm They also have a good collection of aerial photographs of the Western Front.
