Query re tagging* In the diary of the 123rd Battery 28 Brigade RFA on 26th Dec 1914.
Entry for 123rd Battery 28 Brigade RFA on 26th Dec 1914. The CO Forward Observation Post, saw an extraordinarily spectacle - German and British Troops walking about in the spaces between the lines.

Article links: The Christmas truce refers to a series of widespread but unofficial ceasefires along the Western Front of World War I around Christmas 1914. Link with photographs:
*I know we have a tag for Christmas but because I think this entry is unusual, I tagged it as #christmastruce. If this is incorrect and it should just be the #christmas tag, I can go back to my comments and delete the word truce.

Actually, I think #christmas #truce might tell the story a bit better. I would also use the hashtag #story with this one.

I had tagged it with the tag #story. I have now amended the tags from #christmastruce to #christmas and #truce
