Separation for Officers' Casualties and Curious with a Section

  • EXBahamut by EXBahamut

    Hi.

I noticed that some numbers were mentioned specifically for officers. Do I need to make an extra note on the people or just add the number of officers' casualties with other casualties?

Also, can anyone read the last sentence of the last row and second column?? I feel that that section mentioned a person but I could not read it.

    Thanks!

Looks like for part of 11th July 1915: 1 Officer wounded, 7 Other Ranks sick and 3 wounded. Am leaving tomorrow morning for duty at 1st Army HQ temporary, during Major Hymns? absence on leave, am handing over to Captain Sampson.

As far as the numbers go, you can only enter the total on the casualties tag, so you'd need to add together the figures for officers and other ranks.

And I agree with Marie's interpretation of the passage as well!
