Grid Reference - fractions

    Came across a diary page with a lot of grid references that include fractions - for example G 6 a 3 1/2.6 1/2. The "Grid ref" tag doesn't allow us to record fractions or even decimal (3.5, 6.5). How should we record such grid references? Round up? 6 DIVISION: Brigade Machine Gun Company. Thank you!

    Yes, I think in this instance rounding up is probably the best strategy. I guess we'll lose some accuracy, but that can't be helped.
