"in billets" -- where to tag?

  • AGJUBA by AGJUBA

in the Field Guide, "in billets" is described as an accommodation in Army Life. However, there is a tag in Unit Activity for "resting." When the diary page states that the unit is "in billets," should it be tagged as both "Army Life/Accommodation" and "Unit Activity/Resting"?

    Hi AGJUBA,
I use "Resting" when the author actually says they are resting or when a fighting unit is away from the front or support lines and no other activity is cited.

Accommodation is used to identify descriptions of housing or types of housing. This is for folks who are making a specific study of how the soldiers were housed when not in the line.

    Does that help?

Thanks for your answer! It sounds like I do need to tag both -- as the unit is away from the front, there is no other activity, and the specific accommodation is mentioned.
    Cheers, Annette
