  Now that we have tags for these is there any way of differentiating between them if the diary only mentions moving to trenches out of the front line

  Interesting question...is there any way to get a sense of how far back the new trenches are from the front line? That might help determine which tag to use. If not, I'd suggest 'support', because it seems like the more general term, but perhaps somebody with great expertise than I would care to comment?
