Dispatches

  I have come across a note that says certain names mentioned in Dispatches have been corrected and published in the London Gazette. It then goes on to list the incorrect and corrected names. I have tagged the original names, which were on previous pages. I have also hashtagged the explanatory paragraph but wondered whether I should now tag the corrected names and if so is there anything I can do about the incorrect ones?

  You should tag ALL the names as they appear, so on this correction you should tag both the correct and incorrect names. There's nothing you can do about the incorrect ones tagged before, because remember we are tagging what the diary says, not interpreting it.
