On the page of article, Press Control key then F key, (Find). At the top right hand side of the article it will show a long white blank square. type in the word, for example (Redan) or what word reference you need, then press Enter and the word Redan, it will now be highlighted in colour in the text, enabling you to find it quickly. It will also show you how many times the word Redan, comes up in the article.Posted

A redan was a defensive earthwork originally https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redan, and became particularly associated with a battle during the Crimean War, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Great_Redan, and the name stuck in military parlance (partly because it was a previous time the British and French were atually on the same side)
