Repeated (but not identical) diary entries

This and several previous pages of the 1 Berkshire Regiment are repeat entries for dates that were written up several pages back. Some of the detail is the same (e.g. casualties, promotions etc) but the entries are not identical; they seem to be written from a different point of view, and I think the handwriting is different from previous entries. It looks very neat and uniform, making me wonder if these pages might have been written up after the event, possibly to justify/explain why the regiment acted the way it did; I have picked up elsewhere that there were questions over what happened in this battle (1st Ypres). 1st and 2nd November have had 3 entries each, all slightly different.
