  Cynthia, the dates are on the aeroplane aerial photographs.

  So they are! I didn't read those carefully. I thought they were map coordinates!

  I love seeing these. Given they're all so nicely labelled, I keep thinking we should try and superimpose them over the current landscape on google earth. It would need a bit of jiggery-pokery, of course, to account for the angle the photos were taken at and so on, but I'm sure it would be possible.
