Mention of writing to next of kin regarding a soldiers death - Mrs Gordon of Aberdeen.

Josie, I have just posted a comment about this, saying I thought there was a #nextofkin tag. Long time ago I had entries for next of kin for men on a diary page. I reported it and the next of kin tag was suggested to be used. It is not though on the current tag list. (I Posted it under Tags and Tagging on the discussion board).

Marie, as I answered in your other post, there doesn't seem to be a next of kin tag on the list, but we can still use it when it is appropriate.

Josie, I'm glad you put in a hash-tagged comment on this. Records of this sort, where an officer is writing to a soldier's next of kin, seem to be pretty rare, at least in the diaries. I don't think I've seen another one.
