A 2nd Lt has to parade H.M.O. outside the Orderly Room. What is H.M.O.?

I can't at the moment think exactly what it stands for, but I think it's a reference to a certain type of uniform. Something Something Order.

I think it's Something Marching Order. This makes sense as the battalion was moving, and in the context of the sentence. I've been hunting around on Google and can't find anything other than Full Marching Order.

Could it be Heavy Marching Order? http://www.finedictionary.com/Heavy marching order.html

It came to me as I was cycling in this morning - Heavy Marching Order!

And then I realised Erik had already worked it out! 😄
