Offence Report

  • Stork by Stork

This is the first time I've seen one of these. I've read them referred to in diaries, like when soldiers fell out on a march, the author said that he would write them up on a report form.

I wonder if the red marks are blood. Considering the condition of the paper, it may have been close to fighting or an explosion.

It looks like there is writing on the other side of the piece of paper, running the short way across the page. The marks are probably the ink showing through, but it is a curious deep red color, isn't it?

I must admit, I thought it could be blood at first too, but I think Cynthia's right. It looks like ink from the back of the page.
