Royal Militia of the Island of Jersey

I think that Major Stocker (first enty), who was put in command to 48th Brigade's Pioneer Coy., might have been from the Royal Militia of the Island of Jersey. When I searched Lives of the First World War for Major Stocker, there were only five of them, and none seemed to be likely candidates. However, I was curious about this militia, and this article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Militia_of_the_Island_of_Jersey said that during WW1 one battalion of the militia was detached to the 7th Royal Irish Rifles, which was one of the battalions in the 48th Infantry Brigade.

It seemed a shame not to share this bit of trivia.

I've come across these guys before, as well as the Guernsey Light Infantry, both in the connection with the Hampshires, I think.
