Reverend Capt Wynch R.C.
-
At first I thought that R.C. were the reverend's initials, but could the initials stand for Roman Catholic?

That was my guess.

I don't think they call a Catholic Priest a Reverend. Believe he is called a Father.

I searched the National Archives (Lo1WW being closed) and I found: https://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/results/r?_col=200&_cr1=WO+372&_hb=tna&_q=wynch+chaplain.

That is Francis Blackwood Wynch who died in 1944 in a Catholic convalescent home Stillington Hall in Yorkshire (probate records). Also Francis Wynch was born in Darjeeling in 1870 (1891 Census). So this looks like your man.

Yes, RC most likely to be denomination here, have frequently seen C of E (Church of England), Meth (Methodist) used like this for chaplains attached to medical units.
