It's the first time I see an author mentioning all the orders which the unit receives with their number and subject. Unfortunately (or not 😃 ) the orders are not included in the diary.

Yes, that is unusual. At one point, most diaries had significant appendices containing orders and other related documents, but for the most part they were removed. David Underdown would know much more about it than me, but I think much of the material was taken out during the effort to compile the official history of the war.

that's basically how I understand it. You'll usually find copies present for just one battalion of the brigade, or just at brigade HQ level
