    I would read this as the Lucknow Cavalry Field Ambulance, not Canadian Field Ambulance.

    By the way, there are also other abbreviations: CFA = Canadian Field Ambulance; or Canadian Field Artillery

    Marie is correct. CFA here refers to Cavalry Field Ambulance.
