    What does this mean?

I believe the Home Establishment is back in England, where 2/Lt. A O Robinson was transferred to. In the 'Unit place specified', on the person tag, I would have inserted: Home Base - duty England.

I agree with Marie. It was common for officers to be assigned to a six-month tour of duty in England after they had spent a certain amount of time at the front. I'm sorry but I don't know how long that was.

Many diaries state this as "Officer So-and-So to England for 6-month's duty." or something similar.
