Grassets batch

I assume Grasset is a surname and that D.A. Hucheson (can't find anyone with that name) is someone who served with Grasset?

There is a reference to a Lt. A E Grasset – Mentioned in Despatches RE on this link:
PS It also mentions Lt. J A C Pennycuick 59th Field Coy RE mentioned in despatches - I think you have referred to him - was he the Author of this Report?

I found a Captain David Alexander Hutchison of the Royal Engineers on LFWW: https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/lifestory/2030016
I just played with the spelling of his surname as there are several different ways to spell the name that is pronounced like Hucheson, which is actually the least common spelling on LFWW.

You could be right Cynthia. For a moment I thought it could be Hutchinson, but because of the great difference between Hucheson and HuTchINson I didn't look any further. Never thought of Hutchison however.

I also looked at Hutchinson, but didn't find any officers with initials of D.A.
