Can anyone tell me were o with a dash on top stands for in the 4th line? And the first word of that line?

Erik, I read first word as Headquarters. Don't know what the o with the dash above it is. I think it just means Headquarters and remainder of personnel and transport left at 8.30 am.

I think it means with or and, at least from the context. It looks like a medical or scientific notation, but I can't find any kind of meaning for it other than "negative" which makes no sense here.

And, yes, I agree with Marie that the first word is an abbreviation for Headquarters. It's actually Hdqurs.

It's a 'c,' not an 'o.' A 'c' with a line over it is a medical abbreviation for 'with.' I've been using that abbreviation for years whenever I take notes about something. If you replace that 'c' with 'with,' the sentence makes perfect sense.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_medical_abbreviations:_C says that it's short for the Latin 'cum,' which means 'with.'
