What is the name of the product they use in the 2% solution to kill the vermin in the underclothing? Creavol?

On one of the following pages I can read clearly creasol and that is apparently a variant spelling of creosol but - if one may believe Wikipedia - it is not the same product as cresol, .

An article regarding Vermin in ww1.

"The British also developed a combination of naphthalene, creosote, and iodoform made into a paste which could be applied to the seams of uniforms with a good result of eliminating lice in just a few hours."

Note this article mentions creosote. Paragraph before the last one.
