Lock carried out as usual?

  There seems to be an entry at the end of each day's report that consists of some form of "Lock continued..."

  I'm not sure that I'm reading this right as I can't imagine what that would mean. Any pointers?

  I'd like to suggest that what looks like an "L" is actually a "W", and that the diary reads "work carried out as usual"

  I agree with Peter. I think the word in question is work rather than lock.
