Question mark

Any idea why somebody put a question mark in front of 3rd Australian Divisional Artillery? Same unit was also mentioned on previous page (and no question mark).

Whoever left the question mark was questioning something in that sentence of the report, most likely whether the 3rd Australian Divisional Artillery was the unit in that position. Or maybe he was questioning the location as described here.

Maybe the Author was not sure which Australian Division it was and therefore put the question mark in.
