Did the RHA and in particular the 4 Bde, have Howitzers?

The Royal Artillery was divided into three separate bodies: A B and C, were field guns and the fourth D battery had 4.5" howitzers at their disposal. These weapons became the first to be hauled by motor tractors rather than horse power.

The Royal Horse Artillery did not technically include howitzers, but through the war batteries were often moved from one brigade to another, depending on the immediate need. So a howitzer battery could be attached to a RHA brigade for a time and then be detached again.

If you're asking about the bit at the end of this diary page, what I can find on The Long, Long Trail indicates that there were both a 49th Bde. R.F.A. and a 49th (Howitzer) Bde. R.F.A. The regular (non-howitzer) brigade never went to the Western Front, so the one mentioned here must be the 49th (Howitzer) Bde.
