What are "conduct sheets" and why are they being compared?

Conduct sheets are a record of any time a soldier essentially breaks the rules. This link shows one: http://armyformsandattestations.blogspot.com/2015/03/army-form-b120-regimental-conduct-sheet.html
It looks like the Report Book was a record of all violations in the battalion. It was being compared to the sheets to make sure that all of the information from the sheets had been recorded in the book.
Also, regarding your comment on 2nd Lt. Hollaway/Holloway. Holloway is the more common spelling, I think.

I am also convinced that Holloway is the right one, but page135 mentioned Hollaway, So I tagged Hollaway. And now I use #error to refer to my mistake.

Oh, my gosh! Erik, your 2nd Lt. S A Holloway was otherwise known as Stanley Holloway, a very famous actor in the early and middle 20th century: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Holloway I know I'm dating myself here, but I remember him in the movie of My Fair Lady.
