"Five HD horses received from DDR". What are HD horses and where does DDR stand for? AWD000371w

HD stands for Heavy Draught, so these were horses designated for heavy loads. LD horses are Light Draught.
So far, I'm stumped about DDR, although DD often means Deputy Director. Maybe Deputy Director of Remounts?
There's a good list of abbreviations here: http://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/soldiers/a-soldiers-life-1914-1918/common-british-army-acronyms-and-abbreviations-of-the-first-world-war/ However, DDR is not on this list.
Maybe we can get some more information from others here.

Cynthia, More links for abbreviations which I have, which includes the link I gave you which was a was a new link I found today (which I found quite good).
Great War abbreviations link: http://www.briancurragh.com/page6.htm
Common military abbreviations link: http://www.1914-1918.net/abbrev.htm
List of medical abbreviations link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_medical_abbreviations:_A
Also the new link I gave you as above: https://www.awm.gov.au/glossary/term-d/
I have listed them all because some of the taggers may want to paste and copy them into a Word WW1 file for access. Maybe this information could be posted as well into the Mess Hall - Useful tips.
